Bogue Inlet Pier | Emerald Isle, North Carolina
Jessica and Nick had the cutest engagement session on the beach at sunset in Emerald Isle. One thing that was very important for Jessica and Nick was to include their three adorable children. Jessica loves the beach and wanted to have it as the background for their session.
Originally scheduled to take photos at The Point, after circling around for what felt like eternity trying to find parking with no luck, we headed over to the Bogue Inlet Pier.
The Bogue Island Fishing Pier is a legendary landmark. Built in the late 1950s, and operated by the same family for well over 40 years, the fishing pier is a paradise for fishers who want to take advantage of the fantastic fishing conditions.
The lovely couple met when Jessica was working at a restaurant. Nick used to come sit at the bar almost everyday and Jessica would give him and his buddy’s free pie since they were Marines! After being friends for a while, Jessica and Nick went on their first date accompanied by Jessica’s son.
Nick proposed to Jessica in the most perfect way. While watching a movie, he had her son bring her the ring while Nick asked her. Jessica was honestly surprised, because it was fast! But Nick said he just knew!
The soon to be newlyweds are getting married at the beautiful Beaufort Hotel in May 2023.
