Family Farm Wedding | Afton, Virginia

Sam and Jack were married at their family’s farm on a perfect fall day! Everything about their wedding was incredible from the carefully created details, to the stunning weather and gorgeous night sky.

The day started at the beautiful Boar’s Head Inn in Charlottesville where the bridal party spent the morning getting ready. After a quick drive, we arrived at Pea Ridge Farm, surrounded by rolling hills and stunning mountain views.

Sam and Jack decided to exchange a first look before their ceremony. Sam was dazzling in her spectacular Calla Blanche dress with flowing skirt and Jack couldn’t stop smiling. With a supportive and lively bridal party, our time taking pictures was filled with jests, jokes and laughter. Sam wanted a first look with the groomsmen and their reactions were priceless!

After exchanging beautiful vows in from of friends and family with a mountain view as their background, the newlyweds began their reception with a choreographed first dance, ending in the perfect dip kiss. Just as the sun began to set, the lovely couple stepped outside for a few last portraits before opening the dance floor.

Being out in the rural mountains of Virginia, the stars came out in full force for the night, lighting the sky for the end of night photos!
