Lewis Ginter Botanical Gardens Engagement Session | Richmond, Virginia

Kenzie and Brennan selected the beautiful Lewis Ginter Botanical Gardens for their engagement session. Joined by Brennan’s adorable daughter Ella, we walked through the gardens, explored the tree house and took in the gorgeous blooms.

How They Met:

Kenzie and Brennan met a few weeks before the pandemic hit. Once lockdown started, they had to get creative with their dates.

The Proposal:

Kenzie and Brennan had a reservation at a fancy hotel restaurant in Disney. When they arrived, the front desk asked what they were celebrating since the reservation showed Brennan had ordered a congratulations cake. He played it off the best he could, but Kenzie already kind of knew. After they ordered, they went out to terrace that overlooked all of Magic Kingdom. Brennan told Kenzie to take a picture of the view. Kenzie’s picture was very blurry because she knew what was happening and her hands were shaking. When she turned around, Brennan was down on one knee. He said “So are you ready to do this thing or what?” Of course Kenzie said yes! In honor of getting engaged at Disney, Kenzie’s ring has the Cinderella carriage beneath the diamond as a way to remember the proposal.

“I love how he makes me feel about myself. He is always hyping me up. He is a strong worker and a great father. Overall, he’s close to perfect.”

“Her smile, selflessness, and determination.”
