The Boathouse at Sunday Park Wedding | Midlothian, Virginia

Sarah and Bradley’s wedding was full of love, laughter and geese. On a perfect spring day, Sarah and Bradley exchanged vows in front of friends and family at the beautiful Boathouse at Sunday Park in Midlothian, Virginia.

Sarah and Bradley incorporated so many small details into their wedding day. For those who don’t know, “Virginia is for lovers” is the official travel slogan for the Commonwealth of Virginia. Throughout the state you can find structures in the shape of the word LOVE made from a variety of materials. Sarah and Bradley wanted to include all the LOVE signs they have encountered throughout Virginia and used them as the centerpiece on each table.

Unfortunately their dog Basil couldn’t be there at the ceremony, however he was still very much present throughout the day! Basil made sure to get his portrait taken with Bradley while the guys were getting ready. Bradley also wore custom cufflinks with Basil’s face on them and the official drink of the wedding was “The Basil”.

During their first look and portraits, we were followed both on land and in water by one curious goose who couldn’t get enough of the lovely couple. The goose even decided to jump into a few portraits.

Sarah and Bradley met for the first time at college orientation at the University of South Carolina. Bradley was in a physics class with Sarah’s roommates and came over one night to study. She thought (and still thinks) that physics is boring and came out to chat and play music. Bradley liked Sarah’s taste in music (golden oldies) and they started talking!

Throughout years of medical school, a long distance relationship and a hectic work schedule, Sarah and Bradley always put each other first. Their love and support for one another is so evident in the vows that they shared and the way they look at eachother.
