New Kent Winery Wedding | New Kent, Virginia

On a gorgeous June day, Lysa and Thomas exchanged vows in front of family and friends at the beautiful Vineyard Estate at New Kent Winery. The day was filled with many sweet and intimate details and moments. From their first touch to their first dance, it was so wonderful to see the love this couple has for each other.

Arriving on their wedding day, I could feel the excitement and joy in the air! Lysa and Thomas were surrounded by the most amazing family and friends whose love and support was palpable. Lysa, absolutely gorgeous in her Rebecca Ingram dress added a special touch to her nails, a L and T. The groom did an impromptu photoshoot with his groomsmen in front of his project car.

Lysa and Thomas met through a dating app called Coffee Meets Bagel. The first thing Thomas said to Lysa was something to the effect of, “You have a lot of selfies, for our wedding we can hire a photographer.” The rest is history!

For the proposal, Thomas planned an epic scavenger hunt for Lysa. With the help of family and friends, he hid puzzle pieces at some of their favorite spots, and had riddle for Lysa to solve along the way to lead her to the next location. At the end, she was left with 8 puzzle pieces she had to put together that formed a heart. When you threw water on the heart, a hidden message “Will You Marry Me?” appeared.

Sitting on 65 tranquil acres of beautifully manicured vineyards and unspoiled landscape of New Kent County, in Virginia, The Vineyard Estate at New Kent Winery was the perfect venue for this wedding! The rustic charm of the reception barn and the gorgeous ceremony location surrounded by flowers and open fields set the stage for the big day.

To end the night, the couple exited through a bubble exit into the groom’s project car complete with “Just Married” on the windshield and tin cans tied to the bumper!
