April marked the beginning of our spring wedding season, commencing with the enchanting DC wedding of Nyla and Patrick. From witnessing their union firsthand to meticulously curating their photo gallery, the depth of Nyla and Patrick’s love is unmistakable. Their wedding was a testament to the depth of their love, evident in every glance, laughter shared, and tender moment exchanged.

As I admired the flowers gracing the back gardens of Holy Trinity Catholic Church, I was captivated by their beauty and significance. Meandering amidst the vibrant blooms towards their first look spot, Nyla shared her connection to the church, where she volunteers and nurtured the very flowers now blooming. As Patrick and I navigated to our photo spot, brimming with anticipation and excitement to see Nyla, he proudly disclosed that these flowers were planted by his beloved bride-to-be.

Following the Catholic wedding Mass, the festivities continued at the National Press Club. Situated in the heart of the city, just a stone’s throw from the President’s abode, the venue offers breathtaking views of the White House and the Washington Monument.

The newlyweds made a grand entrance with a flawlessly choreographed first dance, followed by heartfelt Father-Daughter and Mother-Son dances. Amidst the speeches, it was abundantly clear how deeply Nyla and Patrick are cherished by their loved ones as well as how hilarious these two are, both individually and as a couple.

Nyla and Patrick initially connected online, engaging in a month-long exchange of messages before arranging their first in-person meeting. In March 2020, amidst the chaos of the Covid pandemic, they embarked on their first date. Despite the challenges, they bonded over their mutual love for the outdoors, biking, traveling, and camping, deepening their connection with each shared adventure.

Nyla and Patrick are two of the kindest, most genuine and caring individuals, and I feel immensely grateful to have shared in one of their most precious moments! Congratulations to the newlyweds!
