The Boathouse at Rocketts Landing | Richmond, Virginia

With the forecast calling for torrential downpours, I thought that Anna Clair and Tyler would have to move their wedding inside. After crossing fingers and wishing for clear skies, the rain stopped and the sun came out just in time for the ceremony!

We started the day at an incredible Airbnb in Richmond that had a gorgeous back yard complete with blooming hydrangea bushes, a koi pond and stunning greenery. After getting ready and hopping on the bus, we headed over to The Boathouse at Rocketts Landing! After the rain stopped, and all the chairs were wiped dry, the ceremony music began and everyone got ready to watch Anna Claire walk down the aisle with her father.

The Boathouse at Rocketts Landing was the perfect venue for this classic and gorgeous wedding with dramatic views of the city skyline set against the stunning beauty of the James River. As the party moved inside, the dramatic sunset was breathtaking. Anna Clair and Tyler found it fitting that everyone could look out at the city where they first fell in love.

Anna Clair and Tyler first met through mutual friends out one night! They danced and instantly connected. Sharing a love for karaoke and traveling, these two were made for each other!

Inspired by Bridgerton balls, the couple tried to incorporate french blues, silver and florals into their wedding. The cozy and intimate setting of the venue allowed for an energetic dance party once the music started.

To end the night, the couple finished with a private last dance before departing through a ribbon exit.
