Capitol Hill Engagement Session | Washington, DC

On a gorgeous Fall day, I met Blair and Zach in the heart of Washington, DC for their engagement session. We started at the beautiful Library of Congress, then headed across the street to the US State Capitol and ended at the Botanical Gardens.

How They Met

Blair and Zach first met on Bumble in July 2020, which due to the pandemic was the only way to really date at the time. They texted and face-timed for a while until they thought it was safe to meet in person. They went on their first real in-person date in August and the rest is history!

The Proposal

Blair and Zach were in Edinburgh, Scotland to visit a friend between Christmas and New Year’s. Blair had COVID, so their activities were limited. After spending some time at an outdoor Christmas market, Blair’s friend offered to take a picture of Blair and Zach in front of a pretty building. It was then that Zach proposed to Blair, who accepted but couldn’t kiss him so he didn’t get infected!
