Hey, name is Brittany! I grew up in Northern Virginia where I took my first photography course at 12 years old. I attended NYU where I worked as a visual and graphic artist for a wedding photography company capturing, curating and memorializing hundreds of stylish New York weddings. My style is editorial and photojournalistic in nature.
I met my husband in NY and not long after the wedding we made the decision to move to Virginia in the hopes of a slightly less stressful lifestyle. We found it on a sprawling 3 acre farm where we raise our adorable children.

WHAT IS AN ASSOCIATE PHOTOGRAPHER?
An associate photographer is an experienced photographer hired and trained by Kylie Hinson Photography to photograph your wedding day. Your associate photographer will have the same professional equipment, knowledge, and skill set as Kylie. Associate photographers have worked with KHP on prior weddings so they understand our approach and specific style. They are given extensive notes in advance so they are fully prepared on your wedding day. You will have the exact same KHP wedding experience, just without Kylie there on your wedding day.
WHY SHOULD I CONSIDER AN ASSOCIATE?
Associate photography collections are an affordable way to have the KHP experience if Kylie is already booked on your date or if your your budget does not accommodate to have Kylie.
WHAT TRAINING DOES AN ASSOCIATE RECEIVE?
Associates are trained in the KHP shooting style - posing, directing, lighting, as well as camera techniques and what gear to use for every specific moment of the day. Associate photographers have second shot alongside Kylie to learn the in’s and out’s of a KHP wedding day.
WHAT IS THE PROCESS TO BOOK WITH AN ASSOCIATE?
All of your communication and booking will be done through Kylie, starting with your inquiry. You will receive an online contract to sign and invoice where you can pay.
WILL MY ENGAGEMENT SHOOT BE WITH MY ASSOCIATE PHOTOGRAPHER?
That is completely up to you! You can choose to have Kylie, an associate or both present at your engagement session. Engagement session are a great way to learn posing and feel comfortable being in front of the camera before your wedding day.
WHAT IS THE EXPERIENCE LIKE LEADING UP TO AND ON OUR WEDDING DAY?
All of your communication leading up to your wedding day will be through Kylie. You will receive questionnaires and any help you need with the planning process and creating a timeline. On your wedding day your associate will arrive with your timeline and wedding day details ready in hand based on questionnaires that you answered. The lead associate will be focused on you as a couple and all your loved ones, while the second photographer will be getting photos of all the beautiful details! Both of them will also get the fun, candid, in-between moments throughout the day. Once your wedding day has been celebrated to it’s fullest, your photos will be edited by Kylie and delivered via online gallery where you can view, download, and share all you’d like with friends and family.
