Grace and Kevin had the most magical engagement session in beautiful Old Town Alexandria starting at the historic Carlyle House and ending along the waterfront. Joined by their adorable 8 moth old puppy and their moms, Grace and Kevin’s session so much fun! These two are the sweetest souls and I am so excited that I finally got the chance to meet them in person!

HOW THEY MET:

Grace and Kevin both attended West Virginia University and were neighbors in an apartment complex in Morgantown, WV. They met Junior year and were friends throughout that year but didn’t start dating until the summer before senior year. Grace studied nursing and Kevin studied finance. Once they graduated, Kevin convinced Grace to move to northern Virginia with him!

HOW HE PROPOSED:

The proposal happened at their apartment in Arlington. Kevin secretly had the ring for a while and was waiting for the right moment to pop the question. The night of the proposal they were sitting on the couch talking about life and how far they had come as a couple. Kevin snuck away and grabbed the ring and suddenly he was on one knee. Grace was so surprised that she didn’t process what was happening at first!

I am so excited for August 2022 and can’t wait to see what the future has in store for this adorable family!
