Lakeside at Welch Estate Wedding | Powhatan, Virginia

Becky and Bobby didn’t let the rain get them down! These two officially tied the knot this past weekend at the beautiful Lakeside at Welch Estate.

The day started off looking rough with the weather as it was pouring down rain! After moving the ceremony indoors, it looked like it would rain the whole day. Luckily, it cleared up just in time for the sun to come out for pictures on the dock.

I first met Becky through my husband Bradley, as the two of them work together. It is a joke with us that Becky is Bradley’s work wife. Once I met Bobby, and saw him and Becky together, I knew they were perfect for each other! These two bring love, laughter and light to everyone around them. Becky is so sweet and welcoming, with the kindest heart while Bobby makes you laugh nonstop with his colorful and fun personality. Throughout the day, Bobby kept holding her hand up and proudly exclaiming, “THIS IS MY WIFE!”

The newlyweds were joined up at the alter by Bobby’s son and daughter. During their ceremony, Becky made vows to the kids which left no dry eyes at the ceremony.

Going into this wedding, I knew it was going to be a lively party, and it sure was with a rave type dance floor with glow wands! Everything about this wedding from the colors, to the decor, food and venue was completely perfect! Such a wonderful day with the most wonderful people.

Becky and Bobby, congratulations! I am so excited for the two of you and can’t wait to see what the future brings you!
