Waterperry Farm Engagement Session | Free Union, Virginia
Associate: Kim
Twenty minutes from historic Charlottesville, in the lush countryside of Albemarle County, sits Waterperry Farm. Set on one hundred acres and surrounded by sweeping Blue Ridge Mountain views, Waterperry Farm provided the perfect backdrop for Maggie and Quinton’s engagement session.
Maggie and Quinton first met in the marching band, The Marching Virginians, at Virginia Tech in 2016. They reminded friends for a few years and officially started dating in 2018. Maggie was a piccolo player and Quinton was a tuba player. Both Maggie and Quinton have been in marching band since middle school and had the time of their lives in The Marching Virginians!
The couple were in Blacksburg for a football game. Since they were in Blacksburg after a long time of not visiting because of Covid, Quinton thought this would be the perfect time to propose! He took Maggie to a gazebo at the famous “Duck Pond” on campus and got down on one knee. Maggie had no idea it was coming!
“I love Quinton’s enthusiasm for things he’s interested in, whether it be cooking, working on his car, or computer engineering.”
“How smart she is and how that shows up not just in her work but in how she talks to and helps people.”
